Writing in the Humanities

Humanities students are generally thought to be good writers. However, writing can be a challenge even for students in English, History, Philosophy, etc., when those students begin to do research in their field or to use new "communication channels" such as blogs and multimedia. This relatively new (2012) NuWrite community is designed to help students solve those kinds of problems.

Currently, our Humanities community features primarily advice for students doing research and writing in History, thanks to many wonderful contributions from Brad Zakarin, former Associate Director in NU's Office of Fellowships, who formerly taught a seminar in the History Department for prospective honors students. We welcome submissions from other departments and will be growing soon!
